The primary objective for the use of the ROID (Retrievable Odor Imprinting Device) is to build a flawless, high value association between target odors and reward.  It is intended for green dogs, fully trained dogs, and dogs with deficiencies in their abilities, and tactical deployments.  It optimizes rapid initial scent imprinting for green dogs and maintenance for fully trained dogs.  The ROID also enhances and magnifies the bonding relationship between Handler and K9 during the retrieving phase of the training. It is the most unique K9 odor imprinting delivery system on the market now.

The ROID is an excellent tool for establishing and conditioning search patterns for all disciplines of detection, including suspect searches.
